In August 2019 we wanted to go as light as possible for the Shredder. So we went back to Vac bagged which we did back in 2011 with bamboo. This time we used Eps blank with stringer, double bias carbon and 5oz clear top and bottom epoxy. I was blown away by this board, it is only 1.8kg. It gives me more low wind range/hops over white wash/trucks up wind/turns and holds sharper/it wants to jump/it stay up into the wind longer on a jump, I am using a 5'2" board for my weight of 78 - 80kg.

The Smook team is always innovating with materials and fine tuning the design. In 2020 we have some new high tech materials to try. We're looking forward to trying the new boards!
